I just withdrawed some money out of moneybookers (nearly £300) - was wondering how long it would take.

Also, i'm new to cheques, never used em, do they just have to right it in my name and then i can cash it in to my local bank?

    Thanks, any help is welcomed.

I'm not sure how long would it take but I'm assuming it should be between 7 - 15 days (NOt sure though)

You can't cash such cheques as they are deposit only. You will have to deposit cheque in your bank account and then it would take sometime to clear and money will be deposited into your local bank account. This could also take between 7 - 21 days depending on the country.

The withdrawal time depends on country to country. Sometimes it might take about a month.

I'm in the UK - they are based in the UK and from what i remember there verification email came within 2-3 days.... so i think it might come quick? Not sure how it works though. Not to bothered about how long it takes to clear in the bank, as long as i receive it quickly.
