Is there a way on how can I recover from QS1 aside from changing my domain name?

    Same here.

It's more like a "ban" rather than a failure. QS of all keywords in all campaigns (for the same domain) dropped to 1/10 in one night. I contacted google, they told me that my landing page was poor. I re-designed it to comply with the rules. Now they're saying that I need to increase my overall CTR to increase 1/10 !

How can I increase CTR when my ads are not showing. Besides, I believe that 1/10 is not the result of an
unsuccesful campaign. It's more like a "warning" or a "punishment".

I don't know what to do.

Will creating a new adwords account work? Has anyone tried?

I don't know. My ctr has been 4 and 5 % for one particular keyword I have, which is great in my experience.... but the qs has been dropping and the 'minimum bid to be on first page' has been going up, the ad is appearing very rarely.

Google is making it way too difficult to give them money.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. I was told that it might take Google awhile to rescan my domain to see that there is a new landing page.

I think you need to create a new domain and move your adword campaigns to it. Otherwise it might take awhile for Google to find your new landing page on your old domain. I don't you've been banned so your account is okay. Just a slap.

1/10 sounds to me like you have been severely 'slapped'.

CTR is all relative to how your competitors' ads are performing and what position you are in. There is no universal X% to get above to get your QS increased.

1/10? Add a new Ad Group and use a different domain and see what change that makes.

    1) In campaign summary adgroup level, mouseover the small icon beside the keyword and you shall see the qs: 7/10,9/10 or 1/10.

    2) Direct viewing the qs by using adwords editor, you can download it free.

Ouch 1/10! Sounds exactly like my first Adwords experience a year ago.

Forget it about it just create another domain and don't look back. I really liked my domain name and tried everything to boost the QS when this happened to me. It is near impossible to fix.

Even if you boost you quality score your ads will most likely not show because of low CTR.
