I put my site up, then added a few links from my other websites and within 2 hours it was indexed by google and in first place. Is this a record ??

I am first place for unique descriptions,,, not very competitve I know, but still,, good to see it happen so quickly

Considering the fact nobody is targeting this keyword... it's not a record.
According to Wordtracker nobody is searching for unique descriptions.
By the way you should check your site, it's not loading at all.

Yes that is quite fast, but it means relatively little when the keyword doesn't get regular monthly searches. The Google keyword tool does not show any data for that keyword phrase. You also have the advantage of your keyword matching your domain name exactly. I think this could be achieved with nearly any keyword that does not get any searches.

Yes it's possible to be indexed faster, 47 minutes is my record.

The competitiveness of the keyword does not determine how quickly you get indexed, but obviously does determine where you end up ranking.

Great stuff, keep up the good work.

    Cheers

I would not call it a record. I have done it several times within a day. My best time for getting into Google's index was about 45 minutes.

But can you imagine the irritation that some people feel that they have been trying for months to get into Google?

Months ? Blimey, I thought one day was slow...

Yes the keyword is not competitive at all, but watch this space... with many SEO experts advising on unique descriptions for linking then it soon will be !

I guess these people are totally new to SEO ;)

Reasons not to get indexed fast in Google:
    1. Your content is totally duplicate.
    2. You have no backlinks whatsoever, you submitted the site manually :D
    3. Something is totally wrong with your site structure or your hosting blocks the spiders.
    4. Your domain is penalized in Google.

@Londonseoconsultants: This is the nth time you have posted a thread advertising your 'unique description' service. I hope you would refrain from spamming the forums with such threads.

Is you keyword less competitive? The main reason is Google likes new keyword rich content. You can rank higher for any keyword with the best content. "Content is the King".

i just finished a review of Atomic Blogging 3.0
I posted this and run a cron job on my blog, and literally 20mins later i was on page #1 pos #3 for "atomic blogging 3.0" :) Now i hope i can maintain this.

Usually, indexing shouldnt be a problem.

    a) google loves new sites and often shoots them up in the serps in the beginning
    b) it doesnt take more than dropping a link on a good forum, stumble and digg...and you're indexed max. 1hr later.
    c) the more established and older your site, the faster you get indexed and the better a chance to rank for whatever KW.
(I am ranking for **** you wouldn't even believe...just type "good wording" in google...wth?

It's fairly easy to get indexed by Google and rank within few hours.

However, it take some works to keep your keywords ranking high on the SERPs.

You should consider building some backlinks to maintain the top position.

It's low competition word, gets little searches, and, yep, you have the keyword domain :) That's all.
