When you change a keyword Max CPC where do you make a note of this change?

For example, say you decide to drop your bid for [widgets] from 0.40 to 0.36, where do you make a note of this change?

For 'one to one' Ad Groups I make a note in my master Excel spreadsheet for that campaign; for clustered adgroups I make a note of the change in Adwords Editor.

    How do you do it?

I don't both with that. I use Prosper202 for tracking. I'll adjust bids until profitability is affected negatively.

Surely not. When you are working with a large account how do you know when you have changed the keyword's Max bid? If you don't make a note, how do you know you have given the change enough time to test?
