i was thinking lately about taking SEO Certification ,i found on G the expertrating site as first result and also i got this list so seems like there are many ,if you guys can tell the best online source to get this certificate please share or suggest the best from the above link and also if there is free tests i can pass let me know.
You don't need a certification for SEO so keep your money. You will learn more on your own and through others.
as Kngval has indicated there is no governing body though another thread here highlights the uselessness of the certification though it appears many people have subscriber to their certification... read about SEO and put into practice what you have learnt, if you really want certification; google have one for PPC. Otherwise try my new "Omnipotent MR G demi god Certification"
i would suggest wait for some good and well known educational institute offer any certification like that. or otherwise you need not for any certification, you work and experience matters.
I am agreed with this. I don't think you need to get JOB (Joker Of Box) if you can deliver results. And if you can't deliver results then what's the need of certificate?
guys i think i wasnt clear enough, i just need it for work purpose only ,some companies give more value to certificates thats it i already learring from forums specially here and i know there is no better way than this i just need to fill m cv with lots of these things .
Well then just draw certificates and put them on your cv Try the ebook in my signature, the guys there have some sort of certification.
haha, yeah like DZI siad just draw one up! It's just totally worthless as it's not regulated. Or even better pay me $79 dollars, and i'll certify you! And I work for blue chip clients such as the BBC, Barclays bank, Sporting Index and more! Plus thats $10 cheaper than you're cowboy certification company!
All these SEO certification sites that are springing up are nothing more than conmen ! There is no official certification. Anyone can manke a SEO certification website, get some mugs to pay you money, ask them a few questions and then send them a certificate, and "allow" them ,,hehehe to put your seal on their website,,, blimey these conmen also get a free link !!
well i give up i was in interview afew days ago when this man asked me where did i learned seo and if i have any certificates and i was like :| then i told him its not about certificates but i wish i had better question such as a well known certification but seems like there is nothing to get,anyway i think i will take this job
No Certification is required.. You must be internet savvy and just read about it and start implementing.
