I doubt it. Did anyone think France would beat Brazil, realistically? No. If they play like they played last night then they have a chance at winning the World Cup, beating Portugal will be a walk in the park. I hope someone makes Ronaldo cry like a little girl again. Me? bitter? certainly not.

I still don't understand how this could happen. Brazil has such great players, they are so much more talented individually than the French players, and any other players for that matter. Maybe the French just played better as a team. Maybe the coach fucked up by not letting Adriano play from the beginning. Who knows ... I just hate that they lost against the French. I wished it'd been against a cool country!

Maybe you should ask yourself why eveybody hates Portuagl? Is it because of the cheating diving antics of the player, or the fact when actually do get fouled they surround the referee brandishing imaginary red cards? Is it because they play boring football that even makes England look lik the better team? Yes as an Englisman is makes me choke to support Frnace, but they have played the best football in the tournament so far, miles ahead of anyone else. They deserve to win if they continue to play the same way.
As a Frenchman it's sound strange for me to say so , but I agree with you... France played the best football in this worldcup ( at least in the last game versus Brazil, that's not true for the previous games), and I think the same, if they keep playing at this level, they deserve to win.

I don't see everybody hatting Portugal! Only few countries like United Kingdom (we had the support of the majority of the Scotish people), France and maybe the Dutch football supporters. In this WC, I heard the germans supportting my team...4 years ago I heard the South Koreans supporting our team. Today, we have the Brazilian people supporting us...and also the African countries... and more and more friendly countries! I think that you in England have a great problem...and that problem is: media! They invent all kind of stories to make you feel the best. I can give you an example: it was necessary to pass some decades to the Chelsea team win the Premiership...it was a portuguese coach with a lot of portuguese players. You only see cheating when we play as a national team! That's too much to accept from you. From the 4 best teams of the WC I think the Germany have good possibilities of winning.

I'm an Arsenal supporter so France is always my second team because I love Henry. I think they are superb. Zidane was amazing and showed why he is classed as an utter legend, and if they play like that next week - Portugal are going to get thrashed. Well, on second thoughts maybe not. Not if Portugal do what they do best and cry to the ref/dive and generally whinge about every little foul. They play boring football, mate, face it. If you were English you'd be saying the same thing. Just like if I was Portuguese i'd no doubt be sticking up for them. He was injured and frustrated. Was Ronaldo not sitting on the bench crying like a little girl when they played Holland?
I'm sorry but I don't think you know what your talking about. There is no way a player can convince or force a ref to dash out a red car.....Please this is impossible.... If they tried they would most probably get a red card themselves.
