I hope this is in the right section. Been looking for a place to post but could only see the services section. (Please Mods move if not in the right section).

Basically, I am looking to set up new websites and need advice regarding whch hosting package is the best and which company provides top notch services. Any recommendations will be welcome. Thanks

Can you be more specific? How much disk space and data transfer do you need? What type of websites are you going to host?

If I understand well you are going to run more websites so try to look for multiple domain hosting.

    And what's your budget?

Wiredtree and knownhost are two excellent providers. The former doesn't provide shared hosting but their service and ticket response time are incredible, pricier than most though :)

I use both GoDaddy and Host Gator. I am happy with both but GoDaddy seems to be slightly more expensive, get about the same results as far as load times.

Hostgator is good until force u bought a dedicated server.... with the same liar, u are using much resources of server, then u will need to purchase a dedicated server...

    they r sux.

At moment i'm using servage, its so cheap and u can host unlimited domains in the same account...

I've had a good experience so far with both Bluehost and Dreamhost. I've been hosting sites with each of them for more than a year.

Unlimited domains, bandwidth, storage, etc... but they've got some limits on the types of files you can upload relative to how they're used... Of course, if you use up too much CPU there is gonna be a problem eventually.

Just make sure to read all the details in the user agreement regardless of who you go with :)

I started a web hosting company a couple of years back (travsolutions.com) that I use for all of my websites. Obviously, since I use my own service, I'm going to recommend that.

If I didn't though, I'd probably go with Hostgator.
