Currently I own a very awesome domain .Name, Do you think this .Name extension is good or no? Is the price good or no if we compare with .Net or .Org?
I think they are pretty much useless. I still haven't seen a decent website with .name. Until public recognizes it as a legitimate TLD, I don't think they are going to be worth anything. But if you have a really good one, just hold on to it for a few years and see where it goes.
.name is probably just as worthless as .ws Unless you have a super premium .name, like business.name or something to that effect, it's really not worth it.
If you have a strong keyword with .name than its ok but check the list of expiring domains for .name and you create an idea about its value good luck
.name is really bad if you got domain.name my.name best.name buy.name Premium.name if you own a premium domain .name yes
I'll just say something, if you see a domain in closeout section 99% it's a dead investment because it's monitored by thousands of experts if it was a really good one, they would directly bid on expiring domains section.. Only the useless domains can be found in closeouts.. But there are sometimes exceptions
Personally, I only stick with .com and I have a few .info. But what I've seen the last month or so is that backlinks is what really makes a site an authority site. I am finding more and more .info sites at the top of Google. The other day I was blown away to find a .us site at #1 on Google. A .us site; I never thought I'd see that, but I did. I'd say to build that .name site into a great site and maybe your .name site can be at the top for your chosen keywords too. Good luck with your testing. Demond
