Difficulty in SEO

Hi All,

I am facing some problem in optimizing my webiste.

I am optimizing my website since last 11 Months.

I have done on page optimization with Meta Tag, Header -Footer optimization, H1tag optimization Content Optimization and Image txt optimization,

with on page i have done off page too like Web directory posting, Blog and articles posting, Press Release Submission, Social bookmarking and link building.

Problem is that now with all this done i am not getting more traffic as i was getting at the time of optimizing my website.

Can any one tell me how do i get more traffic now?

What steps I do for getting good traffic ?

Does it mean that you stop optimizing your site now?

 

how many times you update your website? maybe you are trying to optimize your site but not doing it properly...

 

You probably need some improvement on your optimizing rather than just normal day to day less quality tasks. When building links also consider the site's traffic, give special deals for link partners you think that could help you like giving them additional link from your related blog.

 

Evaluate your whole campaign may be you are missing something or doing it in wrong direction

May be you are doing any of the following ---

# Over-optimizing (Google does not like over-optimization)

# Doing it all at a time.
--------> SEO is an on-going process. So if you do it for 3 weeks and leave it for 3 months - you won't get desired results.

Besides - SEO is not direct traffic. It will put you in good position on search results but it does not necessarily mean sudden boost of traffic. Once you have good search positions, people will automatically start finding your site and visit it.

#You may also check your niche and volume of people using the net for it.

 

Hmm.. I think there are something wrong in your link building process (or maybe, you dont have a searchable keyword)

I like to tell you that I am not over optimizing my web site i do seo gradually... and not like doing for 3 weeks and stop for 3 months.

But i want to know repetative actions for SEO as such SEO is on going process.

I have not lost too many visits but there is partial downside in traffic so i want to cover it all.....

so please suggest me tips for re boosting traffic.

 

For immediate boosting -- you may start a blog dedicated to your niche. (On sub-domain of the main site)
Write quality post and get yourself into social media (digg/propeller/reddit/stumbleupon/Twitter and other platforms of blogosphere). If you are active - then it won't be difficult to boos traffic to your blog - and lead them to your main site from there on.

This will also act as link-baiting and if enough care is taken on quality of contents, then it might also solve the long-term goal of sustained targeted traffic.

 

I also having same problem.My traffic website is suddenly drop since i update my sitemap at few months ago.Anyone can advice us?

 

Hi can you tell me besides blog and SMO what are the other traffic getting tricks ?

 

No Idea mate. If I knew the short-cut route - I would have used them myself.

But you may try traffic-exchange through sites like -
www.trafficbunnies.com

Or buy them from 3rd parties selling traffic.

One thing is sure though - those visitors will be useless if you are selling products/services.

But when you do On-Page SEO -- the URLs should ideally be static like

something.com/someurl/

OR

something.com/someurl.html


Besides, all pages should have proper titles, appropriate number of the targeted words in the content. All these must be unique. Also to highlight a point you might add the <h></h> tags.

How many backlinks do you have, and do they have your desired keywords in them? Backlinks are unfortunately still a huge deal.
