    Hi All

Does everyone agree that there is a Google Sandbox?

If i am launching a new website how much time does it takes to run through it

And what will be the effect in the website?

If my site has never been in the Sandbox. Why not it has been sandboxed ?

    Thanks in Advance

    opinion is divided.

The 'sandbox' may simply be a side effect of another part of the algo, rather than an explicit step in the process.

    yes it exit,
if you are trying to optimize your website too fast, you many be sandboxed but its not 100%.
you you escape then, enjoy it otherwise make some efforts to get out of this hell. It may be of 3,6 or 12 months.

it all depends on google, you have to keep working hard if you do get sandboxed, some people dont believe in it but ive had sites lose rankings on 40 odd phrases in a week when the site is 5 weeks old, its there but probably just a part of googles algorithm

existance of sandbox doesn't mean that your site will be in it. a site may go to the sandbox when google smells something fishy (building links too fast, link building using the same anchor text, etc) and can stay there for ever or come out of it over time by maintaining the integrity and link building consistency

My blog was in 1st page of Google for local stock market related key words (Colombo Market Activity) two months after I created the Blog. Then it was suddenly gone down to 4th page for about two weeks then started getting better again.
Is this “Sand Box effect? Please let me know.

that could just be a connection to a different google data centre, or google was running through an update and you were seeing older results, this has happened on a number of sites over a while which is why i assume google update

I accept 2 to 3 months is average sand box time..
But i have one question, that will Google keep all the new sites into its sand box compulsory?
