Cos someone is being honest here and trying to do he can to make amends. So it does deserve some exposure.

No offense, but recently i have seen you take part in threads with which you had nothing to do. You have posted just to blast the OP or mention how rubbish the deal was. What is it? .. You hired as some DP cop or something ?

The original deal stunk like crazy, it was blatantly obvious that it was not viable. Without searching your old posts (which I'm not going to do) I've no idea if you have any seo knowledge. Its completely unrealistic to purely price something on the number of search results. There are at least 5 more important things you could look at, but all were absolutely ignored. It was clear that a lot of people were going to ask for jobs that could never be completed in a million years. Of course they all tried anyway as there was a "money back guarantee" and we all seen how that turned out.

You say he deserves exposure, I'm not sure if it was me I'd want that! Show yourself to have zero knowledge of what you were trying to do, get involved in ripping off dozens of innocent people, then not be able to pay them back. The people at the end of that list have zero chance of receiving anything.

If I were on that list I'd just go to the police and let them deal with it.

 

Going to the Police or the Court wouldn't get us our money back, we would just end up loosing more. What we have done here is a out of court settlement of sorts. He is accepting responsibility for this fiasco, standing up and paying back each and every customer. He could have just got banned by posting a few abuses in the political section and not have faced any of this.

But the fact that he has actually stayed back and is paying back every member is appreciative. I don't know how you manage to see right through that.

About the Unrealistic objectives. You don't have to do a search on my posts, use that time for something better mate . I myself will tell you i have no SEO experience. But that isn't the reason why we fell for it. The only reason was cos Col IS a reputed member and we ought to believe the words of someone reputable. And its not just in DP, its a way of life.

Although we were wrong in making that decision we still made one good move. That is trusting Col's Reputation. Because as i see it, he is living upto it by all means.

And its not just him, even if you start a Unrealistic service people will still go for it even if they know its not manageable. Just because you have a good impression here and people will back you to make good of your promise. They will believe you are capable of doing it.

As far as the exposure goes. There are 3 reasons this thread or this whole case should get exposure

1 - Appreciation and maybe a little Support for Col (I know you don't, but as i said earlier, i really appreciate what he is doing)
2 - Educate people like Col who fell into the scam with KOK. People who read this will know the consequences of online business and will take more care along every step.
3 - Educate people like me any many more who fell for the scam. After this happened to me i have been more cautious with my dealing. If i had read something of this sought before i invested my money, maybe my name wouldn't be on that list. So why not let people know if it can mean a few more avoiding a scam?

"Cheap SEO Services", why don't you sell some of your online properties (not at the price you want, but at fair price) to people to pay all these people.

 

I have already sold many of my "online properties". There are still many for sale but no one is buying them. They are all for sale at SEDO.

I am selling services as well. For example, blog posts on my pr4 network. There is a thread for that service.

I can't sell all of my web sites. If I did, how would I raise funds to refund people? I don't earn much in wages. If I relied on my wages alone it would take me 50 years to pay off the debt. If you see the list and how it is taking shape in regards to refunding clients, you should see I have done reasonably well in the amount of time passed so far.

 

I was a customer of this product and have now arranged to receive some SEO services from Cheap SEO instead of a refund.

I have gone through the situation with Col and really appreciate his integrity and honesty. I think what he is doing to make this situation right is highly commendable.

He has been scammed just as much as we have been, but feels responsible, so will work his a*s off to pay us back what someone else stole.
