Hello, I have a new MMO site that needs some interesting articles on MMOs. I'm looking to by 4 articles from various writers. Some basic requirements. 1. Writer must be very familiar with MMOs and is currently playing them 2. Has demonstrated ability to write quality articles and has proof The subjects I want discussed in the articles... Article 1. A newbie guide to a major MMO (WoW, Warhammer, AoE, etc) Article 2. A walkthrough of what a MMORPG is to a new player Article 3 and 4. Article of particular subject in a MMO you feel strongly about For article 3 and 4, please send me your ideas on what you would feel comfortable writing about. I'm really not looking for game reviews, but more of subjects in MMOs like play addiction, men playing as women, griefing, etc.
Hi. I would be interested in doing article two and articles three and four. For the last two articles we could discuss topics as you suggested, but one of them would be about gaming addiction/impact on life for sure. My gaming credentials are solid. I have played several games very extensively - Diablo II - LOD (near the richest on USEAST on hardcore, strongest melee barb), Warcraft III:TFT (qualified for and placed top three at several national LANS including WCG & ESWC), and WoW (pre-WOTK but still a lot of experiance). Interested. I have been a long term member here at dp for at least 3 years. While my itrader isn't high i have had positive experience both ways. I am just starting out in writing for net,but when it comes to topics i'm deeply interested in,the words just flow. I believe i could provide good quality and 100% unique articles on the 3 areas quoted above. The MMO i've had several years experience with is runescape. Owned by a company called jagex. It's now rivalling WoW,and i've heard rumors there is some kind of expansion to the game similiar to WoW's expansions. For article 2,i was thinking something along the lines of A walkthrough of what runescape is to both new and old players. article 3,would cover addiction to runescape 4: either the effect the game has on children or/and what the game can teach us in real life. those are some ideas. How long do you need these articles to be,and what's the payment rate?
