Your best webmaster forum outside DP?

My best/favourite webmaster forum by a long way has to be Digital Point. I base this on the categories, topics, user activity and also the many educated members across the boards - DP is a great place to learn and meet great new people.

Now, I wanted to pose the question... which is your favourite webmaster forum outside DP? I have selected four nominees that seem to do the business and as far as I am aware, each of these forums use the great VBulletin software; each are also well established forums across the web.

WebTalkForums... I've heard of that.
I hear they have some of the cutest mods around.

 

I think i'll vote for WBT as well... they have a nice friendly community on there and they also have a revenue sharing program, as well as allowing you to use html banners in signatures.

I like SitePoint, but they don't allow affiliate links or centering in the signatures; obv they have great volume of members, PR and good topics which is what you should look for in a webmaster forum.

Many webmaster forums tend to force obtrusive ads on you which is a little annoying. DP doesn't!

 

According to me Dp is best and sitepoint is next to dp.

 

They also have some very ugly MODs - or at least one anyway

My favorite webmaster forum next to DP isn't listed. Lol that list you have on the poll is a bit biased don't you think?

Some people also claim that there's a difference between a webmaster's forum and a marketing forum. One forum on the list is known as a marketing forum. I saw anything with a marketplace is a webmaster and marketing forum.

 

Is there any webmaster forum better than DP ?

I like to visit sitepoint from time to time just to see what other people are saying about various topics.

 

You mean Warrior? They may call it an internet marketing forum but they also reference it as... "Forum devoted to Internet marketing, search engine placement and optimization, plus affiliate programs advice and support."

All means the same thing to me... "Webmaster refers to the designing, developing, marketing or maintaining of a website!"

Who did I miss out? SitePoint are the largest on the web, V7N is the second best ranked in G behind DP, Warrior I know is very popular and WBT seems to be the best newcomer on the scene. I figured these are the big hitters, but I am from England, UK, so am not educated about the trend in American webmaster forums.

My vote goes for sitepoint....I have been there couple of times....and I did like the quality and frequency of interaction there too.....

Id have to go with RandomChatter.org Its a newer forum that I am apart of. How come it was not included in the voting?

(ps: However I find there are tons of "copy+paste" threads in sitepoint . )

I don't like another forum...I choose Sitepoint (Rarely)

 

DP is the only one that I visit regularly but I voted WTF.
