Hi there! I am looking for a few people interested in testing out the project I am currently working on. It is directory submission software written in C# and requires .NET 2.0. It is a uniquely different and simple approach, and I would greatly appreciate your input on it. That includes advice and critique. My goal is to automate the process as much as possible, while at the same time fully respecting the directory owners. Please PM me to let me know that you are interested. Thanks.
I'd tried this software and give few feedbacks to bruno. Looks promising even though it is still in early stage.
To answer one of alang's questions: PHP Link Directory is NOT the only type of directories that will be supported. The list of supporeted directories will constantly be updated.
Just a quick note: A small number of testers have experienced a problem loading the application. So to anyone interested in testing it, please make sure you have the Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework installed, or the application will fail to initialize. The final release will check for this requirement.
Great Proggie there. Works just fine without a hickup. the correct section is a bitch to find on some of the bigger directories.
Some guys are asking about category selection. At this point, the application will use the first keyword in your keyword list to find a matching category. My goal is to scan all the keywords, get the most frequently used words, and then look for categories based on that. I realize it is not self intuitive at this point, but I’m still working on the best way to do this. Someone also suggested I use top 3 category choices entered by the user in separate category fields. What do you think? Also, thanks for all the feedback, and please keep it coming. I would like this application to be full or solutions to the problems everyone is currently having. It other words – tailored to you – the user. So let me know, what features you would like to see incorporated. I’m updating the application daily, and will let everyone know of any updates. Thank you all.
do you mean for eg. my site www.pokertutorials.info useually goes into the section games, internet, gambling if you mean something like that yes that would be a great addition. I just tried using gambling as the first word and it works fine for some of the 5 sites.
I will think of a best way to implement this category selection feature without hindering the process of automating too much. Any other feature requests?
