Apply now, or wait?

Should I go ahead and apply now, or wait until I get more uniques/pageviews? Right now I have around 12,000 uniques per day, and 40,000 page views. I am kind of scared of not beng accepted, and ruining my chances.

I think you can apply as many times as you want... without ruining any chances.. but read the TOS before you do.

12K is a good number of uniques. Depending on your niche that could be some decent income

It took two tries for me to get an invite, but I just got mine a couple days ago. I just tried applying with a different site I own and it worked perfectly.

You got accepted without an invite or..?
What site did you apply with? Someone told me yahoo favors entertainment sites for their publisher network but I doubt thats true though..

You can get into the program with a lot less traffic than that. I'm not sure what factors they base it on, but I have seen people with very little traffic get accepted.

This could be true. I applied with my arcade site and was accepted within two weeks (no invite). This was in March. I'd go ahead and apply. Submit an entertainment site. You can use the code on all sites you own. It's getting in, in the first place, that's the tough part from what I hear.

Yea, 90% of my traffic is U.S traffic. My site is well designed, and it doesn't force ads onto anyone who doesn't want them. I am currently averging $xxx with adsense a week... I wish I had YPN.

What's so bad about $100 a week with AdSense that you think YPN is going to do better?

Although it varies from site to site, but YPN usually pays more then AdSense.

I have heard that rumor, and based on Yahoo's higher minimum CPC than Google's, that's a logical theory. I haven't ever found any other evidence supporting it, though.

$xxx a week sucks, in fact $500+ a day is out stepping out of the suck range.
