I have also used copyscape for checking duplicate content.. Find it useful to check if someone has copied my content on my blogs.

I use Quotefinder to analyze duplicate. It is absolutely free and a great tool I have used to check duplicate content. Just copy paste your content in the box and it will show you if the content is copied from somewhere else. It is the URL : http://blogoscoped.com/quotefinder/

    Cheers

Copyscape has served me pretty well so far. Might give quotefinder a bash, just to see how it compares. Thanks for the link

the easiest way to check for duplicate content is to put a 5-7 word phrase from your blog in quotes into google search, this will find matches to that exact phrase. it is manual but great if you oly have a couple of original articles.

    otherwise pay for copyscape....
