Can outgoing links with the anchor related to my niche hurt my rankings?

    Hey all

    If I allowed people to comment on my blog using the 'name' section related to my niche, for example I'm going for the keyword "free wii" atm, and if people using Free Wii in the name field on the comment box in my blog, will that effect me in any way?

    the more outgoing links you have on a page, the more diulted your page rank gets!

    it could effect you the more comments you approve, but i feel you may need an awful lot of comments for this to happen

    Yes, It will surely hurt you. Never put any outbound link with the anchor text that is same as keywords on which you are promoting your page.

    Suppose you are targeting keyword "Free Wii" on your page, then any outgoing link with this anchor text will make your page weak.
