Its simplyfied. if you read my posts you will see why I prefer to install a wordpress blog script on my website. WP also allows me to with 2 clicks install and activate plugins which could make it way faster to gain more visitors and then slowly building up the fortune. A WP stats plugin takes 5 sec to get activated and how long time would it take for you to install a normal stats script to your website? and let's say you have the script already. atleast 30 min? and then it's not 100% sure you woulnt hit any problems on the way.
just tried this on my site, however i have a question: when selecting keywords for my site, will it suffer if i have too many? thanks
Well, try optimize the site for 1-5 keywords. I normaly go for one MAIN keyword and then have 1-3 secondary keywords. But no I don't think it will suffer if you have too many as long as you have one main keyword atleast thats my experience
