How messed up England is

Ive just watched a programme on ITV and it was basically about CO19.

1 of the sections had 3 lads who made a woman get out of her car and they stole it. The police caught up with them and the lads jumped out of the car and did a runner, the police stopped all 3 - The 3 lads got off with it

Another had a lad who used a knife in a tripple stabbing and got something like 21 months inside.

And the 3rd had a man who used an imitation gun and then headbutted someone and he got 4 years.

I agree witht he last sentence but my question is, how can someone who stabs 3 people get less than someone who headbutts somene else. 1 is more likely to be deadly than the other. My other questions is 3 lads bully a car off a woman and get NOTHING! - How?!?!

I dont want this to get in to politics as i personally think the same would have happened no matter who was in, but im intrigued as to how sentences are made up and justified.

Crazy isn't it, one thing that gets me wound up a bit is how drink drivers can get off with fairly light sentences after having killed someone.

Something about drink drivers that really gets to me.

I personally believe that the same crime over the years has not increased as they suggest, but instead that its just conveniently reported more so that in the near future the public cries out for help, so the government introduce new measures but the people who asked for the government to do something also end up paying the price with a loss of freedom.

Aint nothing like fear of the streets to keep the majority of people locked up in their own homes at night, the government want exactly this situation, its all carefully planned.

They will sort it for you in the future, once they have as much of your personal information as possible and CCTV literally everywhere.

That is the plan, to introduce CCTV everywhere you need chaos first.

Then order from chaos, and when you complain of your loss of freedom in the future they will tell you that you asked for what they introduced. :)

Theres no need to be confused by it, just look into why they do it and it usually makes sense. ;)

I think the police are just as perplexed about the British system of justice.
They bust their bollocks trying to scrape shite from our streets just for some smarmy twat of a lawyer or dribbly old Magistrate to let them back out again.
Anarchy is looking more appealing by the day.

    Well thats being sceptical.
Personally i have no problem with cctv being everywhere. I dont do anything i could get locked up for so i have nothing to worry about.
But there was a thing in the paper some guy doing handbreak turns on a motorway, he got let off with it because he had just started a new job.

He was on CCTV, which kind of shows people are not that bothered about CCTV anyway.

I have a great respect and admiration for the British, but unfortunately, bad things are happening everywhere :( and UK seems to be in the same situation like every country in this world..

The UK Justice system is over complicated and too protective of the defendants right's.

The Belgian lorry driver who killed an entire family (2 adults and 4 young kids) because he was using his laptop and didnt notice the traffic stopped in front, got 3 sodding years!!! he will be out in 12 - 18 months, how is that fair.

When the justice system starts to fail, society starts to lose faith in the system as a whole. History tells us this is a very dangerous situation.

Im 24, so im not 1 of these people to say in my day etc but,

I think something needs to start in schools where you get cained again if you do something wrong. The problem now is society is that bad now you would get the kids parents coming in with a knife or gun or something. I think it needs to start with maybe a disguised person doing it for the next 10 years.
If your caught robbing you get a decent sentence if your caught again, you lose a finger, if you get caught again you lose a hand. Start dishing out punishments that match the crime.
If your caught with a knife or gun (imitation or real) you get given hard labour. Why carry a weapon if you have no intention of using it.

ooOOoo, if i could get put in power i would have this country sorted in 5 years.

There's too much paperwork for police officers. Everyone is scared to abuse the criminals "human rights".

Who fucking gives a shit about criminals? As far as I am concered, they have no human rights./

There are criminals at all levels though, within the police force, the government, the prison system, within customs, and they do deals within the underworld.

Thats why things are handled sensitively, incase a small timer opens a can of worms an exposes the crooked people in professional jobs.

If you ever end up in court, you will be glad of the human rights involved. :)

You can be a protester and charged with a criminal offence, if you got arrested for protesting, you would want what human rights are available to you, even though being arrested for protesting is already taking away some of your rights.

Lad = colloquialism for a teenaged/young adult male.
Chap = colloquialism for a middle aged/respectable male.

    I agree with peter,

As soon as you have been arrested for something wrong (By wrong i mean something which is intentionally doing harm to someone else - whether this be Robbing, Hurting, putting people in unnecessary danger etc) you should be given a fair trial. As soon as your found guilty you lose your human rights and you get treated accordingly depending on the seriousness.
