Beware of Name.com's .info renewal fee

    Agreed, and if they're not earning $0.84 per month then we can just drop them, I guess it's not bad after all.

    godaddy doesn't have 0.99 renewal fee :rolleyes: it has (0.99 + 0.20) $1.19 reg fee ;)

    I think that's how .info's work. They are cheap on the first year and then the next year when it's time to renew it it's not that cheap. I once registered this info domain for $1.99 and did not renew it because of the high renewal charge.

    if you cant develop , resell within 3-4 months its a waste to renew unless it has good traffic

    oh i see. I never thought that .info domain names renewals is so expensive.
    atleast there's a lot of coupon to renew .com domain name compare to .info esp in godaddy.

    why do you think .info is too expensive? if they didn't make the 0.99 1.99 promotions, you would never think like that.. .info's renewal fee is almost the same as the others :rolleyes:

    Most domain registers make their money from renewals. Consider a free transfer to Godaddy or Mydomain.com which is around $6.95 + Icann fee.
