And you're only what, 21? There's a concept, young angry white males with low IQs have a firm grip on the world  I've got hair on my ass older than you, yet you want to talk about a six year age difference?

I wonder if he will have the level of hatred for America you have in six years? Probably not. Not everyone comes from a broken home. Hopefully he doesn't drive a Ford Escort :D

Well I wouldn't know about broken home, but broken patriotic spirit, for sure. It's really not our place to say what kind of home he comes from :-/

Could someone enlighten me what exactly was exposed?

What details? I tried to find the NYT article but it was a subscriber section.
All i know so far is that such a program has been disclosed but is that it? or is there more that has been revealed other then that such a program exists?

    Lol, true.

Edz: The NY Times exposed the operation of scanning financial transactions of suspected terrorists. This is, what we are debating, a treasonous act. I do believe it is, as does GTech and a few others on here.

oh ok. but age is not an excuse for ignorance. He seems like a little brainwashed , probably comes from some crazy authoritarian household

I never said all soldiers are dumb, but there are some dumb ass soldiers out there. You know that is true you were in the Army.

Yeah war is great we should have them all the time, are you retarded? WW2 helped the economy because of the massive work force need to to fight it, this war is not helping the economy, its sucking billions out of it. And we are borrowing money to fight it.

At 15 he still hasn't gone through his first real history class... . No need to speculate about his home life... we don't need to sink to Gtech's level ;)

I understand, but what i would like to know is how far did the exposing go.
I have seen numerous times the term details being used so it makes me wonder how detailed was the exposure of this program.

Was the exposure only regarding it's existence or did it go much further and if so how far?

    Edz:

I don't have access to the original article any longer and I will not sign up on a paper that has a the kind of history the NYT has in selling out America.

    From the WSJ:

    http://online.wsj.com/article_email/SB115163079557294963-lMyQjAxMDE2NTMxMDYzMzAwWj.html

This goes back to the point I've made repeatedly. Knowing a program exists is not the same as exposing details of it's operation and methods.

Here, the NYT was for it, before they were against it. Their original story is here: http://powerlineblog.com/archives/014523.php

Apparently BDS was the reason the NYT sold America out. Seems to be popular and fashionable these days.

The immediate fallout of the NYT's treason in giving aid and comfort to our enemies by disclosing the details:

Where would you get the idea war was great? I only said it was necessary and inevitable.

And yes, I have had a history class: World History; covering from the French Revolution through WW2. You have no place to say what I have/have not learned. You do not know me. You have not stalked me. Have you? Well, since you obviously are sure of what you've said...

Gworld never misses an opportunity to bash soldiers, America, Christians or Jews.

If only he put that sort of effort into bashing terrorists. Probably not, eh?

What is that link suppose to show?

It shows that people want a legal review about this matter which is good. If what the government is doing is not illegal then they have nothing to fear and if it is illegal then it was good that NYT helped to end the illegal activities.

I understand that you have no problem with illegal activities, torture or murder when it is committed by government but majority of people who don't see an authoritarian governments as the idle form of government have problem with it. ;)

What part of that post was bashing soldiers, America, Christian or Jews? It was only talking about a dumb ass corporal.

He and I have a huge problem with it if it is committed by the government. Fact is, that this happens less w/ govt than by people.

I hadn't anticipated it would show your lack of intelligence. Imagine my surprise, it just sort of happened!

The NYT already acknowledge it was a legal program with Congressional oversight.

In other words, a completely legal, yet secret program used to track terrorist financing, of which the NYT was on record for calling for in 2001, is now inoperable because of the NYT.

Does this benefit the people of the US, or your buds (the terrorists)?

There is no illegal activity, the NYT acknowledged this was a legal program and had Congressional oversight. Don't be dishonest in your responses. You shouldn't have to resort to lying. Other options are available to you.

May be you do since I don't know you but I know for the fact that Gtech doesn't have any problem with it. Just ask him here, how he feels about the soldiers killing women and children in Iraq or how he feels about the latest case when they raped the women and then killing her whole family or what he thinks about the use of torture or if he condemns any of these actions at all.

I'll let him answer that: I can't speak for him, like some liberals do. I know that I am, for one, sad at what has happened.

The government did not kill children/women in Iraq. The govt did not rape a woman then kill a family. The govt did not torture anybody.

The killing of innocent people in Iraq is not done on purpose: it is a cost of war. It is always tried to be avoided, but cannot always be. Sometimes, it just HAS to happen. Unfortunate, yes, but that's war for you.

Raping a woman then killing her family is not the govt's choice. It is somebody's own problems and mistakes and he must be prosecuted FOR them under a just court of law.

Except that it's being done under government and military supervision. And it never seems to be prosecuted or investigated until the news breaks the story weeks or months later.

Just remember, your governemnt is sponsoring the military that is allowing its soldiers to rape and murder people's families. I can guarantee you without any doubt that this will in fact CREATE MORE HATRED and more people willing to murder us than ever before. So just remember that when we are attacked AGAIN by more "terrorists".... this time the reason they do it will because of people that support wars... wars that kill innocent people's families... and then call it "part of war"

Would you be calling it a neccessary part of war if it was your mother that was raped and your family that was slaughtered without reason or just cause? I bet not ;)

Any crime done by everybody is done under some form of government... and sometimes news is the only way they find out about it!

No, it is not. If they are caught having done it, they are prosecuted.

    Is that possible w/ you?

Sorry, I forgot, terrorists are the good guys...

Terrorism kills MORE innocent people's families. In fact, that's their GOAL. That is not our war's goal.

No, I didn't say THAT was a part of war. I said that it if it happens, whoever does it is prosecuted. And, if my mom's family was slaughtered, I wouldn't be around to tell you what I thought, would I?
