My friend can, but not those big commerical jets but the small ones that sit probably 6-10 people. I prefer flying fighter jets but I don't have the eye sight for it.....very unfortunate.

My uncle could - I never got a chance to go flying with him though. I think it would so neat to get my license.

I can fly a 747 on MS Flight Sim, so I reckon I probably could manage the real thing.
Those bad guys who crashed into the WTC honed their skills on Flight Sim.

I flew a fake plane in an aviation class in high school. I crashed about 500 feet below sea level.... :)

No but I can drive a car. I know people who can "fly" a plane, but I don't think they ever drive it. :)

Gah. I'm getting sick of people's crappy English here at Digital Point. Seems like less than 10% of the members here speak English as their native language.

You don't drive a plane, you fly it. Unless you take into account that short drive on the airport to get on the runway.

I saw this great bumper stick once "I'm not driving too fast - I'm flying too low".

Seriously, my dad was a flight trainer in WWII and I think one of the biggest disappointments in his life is that none of his kids wanted to learn to fly. He started in on me when I was about 2 LOL. Didn't work, I hate flying.

I've flown a few before but there was always a co-pilot holding the other controls.
