Effective Way for Link Building?

Hi All

I on the way develop link to my sites. the method that I use is:

* Directory Submission
* Social Bookmark
* Article Marketing

From day to day I regularly check Google rank for several targeted keyword. I'm not really satisfy with the result.

What is the effective way for link building to boost Google rank?

And what is the best tools to check link popularity of my sites?

First I'd suggest not checking your rank and incoming backlinks everyday. The time you spend checking is time you could use getting backlinks. It takes time so just put your finger to work on the keyboard.

The 3 methods you mention will work but there's a lot more. You can make youtube videos, Squidoo and Hubpages, Free blogging sites, and blog commenting.

Just do a little of each everyday and over time you will get backlinks and your rankings will improve.

 

Well those "no follow" links from Youtube will not give you linkjuice but you will get some traffic from them. I agree you should not spend too much time looking at page rank. It will come over time. Just concentrate on building great content. If you want to build quality links that will get your website to rank better in the search engines than you can check out my method I use in the signature.

As for me, the following are effective in link building:

1) article syndication
2) forums postings (with signature)
3) blogging (using wordpress or blogspot)

Will there literally be no benefit with search engines from having a link on Youtube?

 

How are you going about your article marketing? There are a lot of nuances to it...

Also like others have mentioned - I would make pages on the 2.0 sites as well: Squidoo, Hubpages... and on the free blog platforms: Blogspot, Wordpress.com

I know this is a newbie question, but where exactly can I check how many backlinks I have?
And also, is there an approximate number of backlinks you need to gain a PR1?
I've been doing some social bookmarking, article submission, directory submissions and whatnot, but I'm not too sure if I've gained enough backlinks to make an improvement.

 

I think the effective way of link building is getting a high quality related site with high PR.

Just Google "PR checker" and you will get all you need to check PR. Also firefox has a free plugin so you can see PR to whatever site your on.

I think all(that you are mentioned) are good ways for effective link building but i think social bookmarking is more effective because social bookmarking gives one way high pr permanent backlink

autoblogging is the latest craze. It means building a 'farm' of free blogs (blogger and wordpress) that exist to send backlink juice to your 'real' sites.
