Hi, Does landing page plays an important part in SEO just as it very crucial in Pay per click? Most of the site on google page are homepage only. Do you really care to have your client directly reach on that page where he can get benefit and convert into customer? Please reply me.
Of course it matters how you build your page. But you must understand that the reason to have many inner pages is to target many different key phrases
@OP: As you said, inner pages (specially landing pages) are difficult to optimize for competitive keywords because people won't link to them naturally.
I agree, but I generally decide on my main keyword and make sure the homepage sells to that particular audience.
