Would it be a good idea to promote my blog through adwords where I review a product, and put my affilate link in between rather than providing direct link to the sales page (in adwords)?

Has anyone tried it. Does it helps conversions ?

Review pages will also improve your quality score and give you cheaper clicks. It's a chance for you to prime your customer before sending them to the full blown sales page.

Give them a taste of what they can order before sending them to the sales page.

Short answer - Yes, however it still varies from product to product.

The thing is that i see many ordinary sales page, and i am not sure even after i review the product and direct the user to the main site, it would work.

Is there any way that we can make our own sales page for someone else's product, ie, we make an interesting sales pages on our own site, and the sales is made within our site, rest all remiains same - we remain an affiliate and earn commission and the publisher gets a sale as well.. looks like i am asking for too much .. eh ?

If you're willing to go that far, you could go a step further and make your own product to go with the sales page, and become a publisher. You'll get more money for yourself, and you might get other affiliates promoting your product.

Creating a sales page is more or less like writing a good review and have a buy now link. Creating a product require much more time, research, and investment than that.

What i meant was that has anyone (publisher) ever tried to include this concept of letting the sales done entirely through the affilaites website. Publishers do provide a lot of affilate material to us, right? So, I was wondering if anyone like to try this concept as well ?

It would be a one time effort on publishers part to do the right setting/ make a script /software for this, but if it works then it could work in a big way.. imagine 10 good affilates making different landing pages for him, he has got every chance of improving the sales .. what say ?
