Its all about this stuff about smartpricing. I have read in some places that its good if the web site that shows adsense adds has a lot of visitors, the thing is that now its a low season in tourism, and i have very low visitor number, sometimes not at all. but those who come, click on adds and CTR can be %25sometimes. Payments are also high. So i think that it is not a problem, but more i surf forum more i want to be sure i dont do anything wrong, and secondly, in general how google treats to websites with low visitors? maybe some people will say now that it is not good, but really, lets say that the niche is low visited in general, no competition at all, its natural that visitors are low, why a site with low visitors should have any problems? of cause if you make a web site with downloads a lot of visitors are awaited but if its something about some rare butterfly in Siberia? help me to brake this myth
I don't think it is a problem to have low visitors but high CTR and high payment. That means you are doing things correctly. It is obvious that you are getting the targetted visitors - those who convert. And you are getting high payment because of the high conversion rate and possibly, high paying keywords. The mistake many people make is to get their site flooded with visitors who don't click on the adsense. High traffic does not necessarily equate with high CTR. It could actually pull down your overall earnings.
i was always thinking the same but why then a lot of people not only on this forum advice first to get traffic before placing adds on a new web site...do they do wrong?
I think they may mean get some traffic first before you start putting ads in since you will concentrate on monetizing your site rather than creating good content for your users. I guess we know its pointless to add ads to your site with no traffic.
