Does anyone know how to put adsense on youtube? I have been looking for hours and can't figure it out. I am signed up for both. I have read through all of adsense.

Trying to figure this out but it's creating more of a head ache then anything.

You have to link your pub ID to your your youtube account. Then when the google ads show while showing content it will be your pub ID.

Start by logging in to google> setup > youtube and let the system direct you.

I would help you but my pain is greater I never got past the d&$#@ captcha to create a youtube account it either timed out or was unreadable by my older eyes. I hope to get my son to create an account for me the next time he is over.

I have to login to Google this afternoon if I see anything that helps I will update this post or add a new one.

You have to be a youtube partner to display adsense next to your videos. Go to youtube.com/partners to see if you qualify.

You don't actually have to paste any code into Youtube as far as I can see. You simply need to be signed into Adsense. Then, log into your Youtube account. As soon as you log in, you'll be prompted to link your accounts. By doing so, your Gmail/Adsense log in will be associated. You can then log in to your Adsense account via the Youtube account settings.

Update: After much research it seems you have to upload a certain amount of videos of a certain quality to be accepted into the Youtube Partner program. I have applied but it looks like I won't be accepted. Hopefully I will be though as I went on to explain in the registration form I intend to upload all my music (a hobby of mine) and some more film and animation. If they let me in the club, my video content will incorporate ads associated with my Adsense Publisher code.

I believe your next step is to now go to youtube.com/partners and apply to be able to host ads. It' much like Adsense in that your content has to be worthy. I'm still researching this but I'm finding it difficult to find a straight answer anywhere.
