some might hate them cuz they are one of the biggest companies in the world and have recently made really bad products
AWESOME ! and i'll continue ... i hate microsoft for what they made with intel , not letting them to introduce a Linux based processor (read about Microsoft History dudes!) i hate that every virus/spyware over there is designed to destroy microsoft's OS ,,, and the victims are me and you ... i hate microsoft coz it was made on other companies remains , and stolen ideas ... i hate microsoft for using people as a testing phase for their products and gaining profits from that ... wish this forum would accept posting links , and i'd have shown u many example links to what i really mean ... cya folks ...
guys... just wait .... Windows 7 will change your views completely abt Microsoft... and i really wish that ... they had taken over Yahoo... GOogle should hav a competitor.. don't you think... it's going to be good both for advertisers and publishers... the worst thing is .. that Google is getting things patented.. so.. now .. all consumers will hav to do is... use google services or go into the jungle(only if companies like microsoft is nt there)
i love microsoft but i hate to buy expensive product, well many free software with good quality now, like linux and open office
I voted No. I am still using Windows XP, so I still believe that Microsoft is useful for us. Let us also remember that Bill Gates is the biggest single donor for humanitarian aid for those in pain and are suffering in the world.
Also one of the largest stockholders in the biggest world polluters and leaders in the most expensive drugs made unavailable to the same charities due to their cost. (Exxon and Abbott Labs for example. See the thread about this elsewhere)
Of course, I hate Microsoft, and the lastest months i'm not using more nothing that are Microsoft envolved.... I'm have some windows copy installed on my company but just for while, we are migrating every pcs to Ubuntu, and Office we change all pcs to OpenOffice.
I dont understand what is this Microsoft bashing all about. I like Windows and I am always stickler to IE 7 as my browser. I have tried Chrome and Firefox and never liked their interfaces. IE7 is the most popular browser out there, so all the hackers are targetting IE7 security exploits and making it popular. But these exploits can also be found in Firefox and Chrome etc. But they are not targetted because their market share is not much. Also remember that Microsoft was the first company to bring technology and OS to the common man's usage. Not Linux or Ubuntu (i dont like that name at all). Windows is the most user-friendly and easiest OS in the market and I for one will be sticking to that. As for some signature that says IE8 is off-standards or whatever, so is Chrome. It works for me and it works well. I always feel that Microsoft being a US company is unfairly targeted at in Europe with antitrust law suits from competitors like Mozilla firefox. Of course IE will come bundled with Windows. I dont see what is wrong about "trust" in that. Can somebody ask Ford to include GM-made car engines in them because of antitrust? If people want different browser let them download and install it in Windows. Why is MS unfairly targetted to pay up dollars?
