    are you just streaming audio? I may be able to help you with shoutcast but not icecast - shoutcast is strictly audio and if I am not mistaken icecast has video support as well.

    But I thing that my client can only use Icecast2...

    ah..is he limited by software? or something else? shoutcast runs smoothly through winamp if he wants to switch over and shoutcast is easier and more common to find than icecast.

    sorry I couldn't be of more help, good luck finding a good icecast server then.

    There are many good sites out there for a fast VPS. A good one is OVH. I would recommend getting a raw server and installing icecast2 on it.
