Wordpress MU question?

    how to use Wordpress mu. I have skill in wp but never try wpmu
    If i have 3 blogs so at which server i should install mu files?

    2 are using cpanel and one at plesk cp.

    i'm using wpmu on a cpanel server. it best works if the domain is not an addon.

    why without addon domains work well?
