Glad to have you aboard. make sure you join the affiliate newsletter so you can get inside information as it becomes available. You also get a free copy of my www.dailyprofiting.com guide. Unfortunately, I only have the 30 articles that are listed on my affiliate page. Best of luck. -Greg
Thanks Greg for disclosing some of your stats with us, looks like this might be something worth promoting. How competitive is this niche at the moment?
That's a really nice increase in conversions from the exit confirmation script. Which exit confirmation script are you using?
There is really only one other product to mention in this niche and they have very few affiliates. The real competition, as far as advertising, is physical products such as creams, pills, etc. Other competition will be from affiliates promoting my product. It is an onbeforeunload command.
Would love to have you. I know you are the man when it comes to BUM marketing. Several affiliates doing very well with articles/blogging. It is good to see you around DP I don't think I have seen you post for quite some time. - Greg
This product converts pretty well to me. I have like a conversion rate of 1:23. The only thing is that my CTR on my landing page is like a horrible 10-15%. But it's a great product for a newbie like me.
PM me your landing page and let me look at it. I can offer suggestions that will increase your CTR. If it increases dramatically, it may lower your conversion rate a little but should be more overall sales. Maybe we can double your sales.
Yeah there are a lot of different versions out there. A lot of the sites that use this are in the MMO niche. It is not widely used in other niches such as health.
I'm an affiliate as well and the conversion improved at least 70% for me,its nice to see publishers add such features once in a while
WOW. That is a great increase. I have been very happy with both the results and the number of new affiliates since adding this script. Greg
Hiya, domainiac! Are you the power behind beateczema.com? I just stumbled across this thread. I am a relative newbie to internet marketing, though keen and with a fair bit of website experience. I am taking part in an IM course, and as part of doing research for that I came across beateczema.com. I assumed it had been around for years. I started with a direct linking campaign on 10 Feb, and got 4 sales by 12 Feb when things went wrong and my bid cost shot up - I guess it was the fabled 'Google slap' so I stopped the campaign. However, it had been profitable (my only one) so I didn't want to give up. I created a new site - eczema-free.com - and started up again last Sunday. Although I've had 31 people opt-in to eczema-free.com I've only made 2 sales linking on to beateczema.com and I'm not making a profit. Is there a way you can help me do conversion tracking, as I think that's key to getting my costs down and conversions up? Something like this maybe: http://ezinearticles.com/?Clickbank-Diet-Product-Launches-Google-AdWords-Conversion-Tracking-For-Affiliates&id=1975092 Otherwise I'm going to have to kill it, and try a different market altogether (though I'm convinced it could be very profitable for both of us).
Hi, Yes I am the person behind BeatEczema.com. I am glad that it was your first profitable campaign. For your conversion tracking, all you need to do is pm me your google tracking code and i will add this to my thank you page. Also, you should sign up for the affiliate newsletter on the beat eczema affiliate page. I have to tell you that a 2 in 31 conversion rate is not only good but great. I am not sure how much lower you could get it for consistent sales. I am guessing that you are paying for a lot of traffic that never opts in and therefore does not buy. You should offer your visitors a way to buy without opting in. I am not sure what percentage of your visitors are opting in but how many potential customers are you losing because they don't want to add their email? If you have any questions for me, feel free to pm me at any time. Greg
Try split testing a couple of opt-in pages. I managed to get one of mine up to almost 70% by doing that. Try a page with less copy, and a good before/after example. Make big, bold, simple statements that leave them with a slight twinge of curiosity. Oh, and beef up that "Register" button. Here's a good example: www.unlockyourprofits.com Lastly, the page you've got at the moment leads me to believe I'm going to get the manual for free because you're going to "give" it to me. Your conversions might be lowered by people who are surprised that they have to pay for it.
Thanks, guys, for your responses. domainiac, I'll PM you with the tracking code tomorrow, and I'll sign up for the newsletter. I'm now at 3 sales this week, out of 40 signups. I understand your point about not having to opt-in - the opt-in is a key part of the course I'm doing, but once I've completed the course I may go my own way on that part. TigerPublishing - you're completely right about the Register button, thanks for reminding me! I used a template, but removed the button to test the code and completely forgot to put it back. I'll fix that tomorrow too. Note those who opt-in are sent a small free manual/booklet on the causes and symptoms of eczema, meanwhile they are redirected to beat-eczema.com for the main offer which is about treating/curing eczema, so there should be no surprises when it comes to having to pay for the main offer. Thanks for the feedback - I'll work on my campaign tomorrow and then I'll be back here.
Instead of the Javascript Exit Pop-up, have you considered using one of those "An Operator Would Like to Chat and Give you a discount" type exit pop-ups? I guess they are free to use, and only take like $2 for every sale that ends up happening from the offer they present. I haven't used it myself yet, but seems like they do convert.
