hi all, 1)I have try to submit my article into digg.com, but according to my analytics, totally did not see any traffic come from there. other then this people search it from search engine, come to digg.com, and then come to my website, indirectly i get traffic. but how to get direct traffic from digg.com, which mean easily can be listed in the front few page at digg.com? [even about 20 people above digg my article, but seem like no effect 2) I wonder does the problem come from the user account that submit the topic? as what i heard out there, people said that if the user account not active, the topic submit will not effective. (Active over here mean actively at digg.com, such as add friend, comment other user topic) any one hv idea over here?
Digg is all about "digg and get dugg". Even if you submit a breaking news, its very rare someone will digg it and share. Create a big following of friends and see your stories being dugg.
digg is about having an authoratative profile and having a lot of friends. i use this tool that helps me a lot: http://diggexpress.com
What he said. Basically the goal is to get an article written on a breaking news topic faster than anyone else can.
i do heard before adding friend will help, also heard about shout function in digg.com but now i am curious, is it I need to go to each user(my friend) and post a shout to them on my new submit article? any method able to let me make a shout, and all my friend able to seem, just like post a bulletin board function by the way, mind to share with me the script you using?
ya, so am I, I try to add up a lot friend over there, and I always receive shout from them, but I did not even see their shout at all. does shout really works?
basically Digg algo utilize this formula No of Diggs + 24 hours (or in how much time) = Hot/Top stories
digg algo is pretty simple. more digg you have in shorter period of time the better. if you get whole bunch of digg within 24 hours period, then you make it to the front page. idea is to setup a digg network and making whole bunch of digg friends. people in this kind of network digg each others pushing the story to the front page. digg front page can bring you a lot of traffic but whether that will convert to anything or not is a whole different story.
Digg is very specific as far as its users go for what makes the front page. The front page can easily get u 10K unique hits which is some killer traffic and its all targeted nicely. I find that marketing articles do very poorly on Digg. Humor does well especially geek humor. And lists are popular like (50 ways to.......)
do you guys feel that form a Digg Network, find about 50 to 100 people join in, and weekly each person submit 1 article, and all digger from this network digg each other article will this able to works?
Previously I have join 1 Digg Network which require invitation but the exchange digg does not help much
