Hi all, I noticed a couple of links showing up in the yahoo backlink checker but they're rel="nofollow" or rel='external nofollow'. Are there any good free tools which check do follow backlinks only? Thanks
Hi; I understand the question just wondering why you want to know if they are dofollow when listed in Yahoo? Maybe it'd be worth joining the Web Comp Analyst forum and asking whether the software there can do teh job. Cheers, Austin.
Only Google and it's partners (SE that take results from google) do not consider nofollow links, for yahoo nofollow links are exactly as dofollow links.
I use this its very good http://seopro.com.au/free-seo-tools/link-checker/ Tells you PR and No follow/do follow etc..
i wonder when we search at google link:http://www.url.com Code (markup): does the result show all do follow or no follow? any one have idea?
I have been trying to find out if the Fast Blog Finder software is as good as it's supposed to be, or does what they claim it can do. I don't want any kind of auto posting software, just a tool that will save me the time of tracking down blogs. I do think it's crazy to only post at sites that only allow "do follow" links. Like someone mentioned only Google and Google affiliates recognize "no follow" links. All the other search engines don't play that game. Why limit all your efforts to getting high Google rankings when there are other avenues. Those "no follow" links should be viewed more as a bonus than a necessity in my opinion. I mean if I can score a PR5 "no follow" link for free you can bet I'm going to take it. I'm not dominated by PR for the same basic reasons though. If you design your sites by targeting them to Google than this may be more of a concern. I do make sites that are geared to what I consider to be more Google friendly. I also make sites that are geared more toward scoring Yahoo rankings. I also don't mind getting the traffic generated from no follow links low PR blog and forum posts.
