Over-patriotic Indians

Anyone else noticed that some Indians here can never see the bad side of their own country?

And it only seems to be from India? There's none from any other country?

I'm not saying I don't like India or Indians, but some people just take it too far with the love for their country.

Any time you say something bad they get so hot-headed and start attacking people (with crap insults).

Why can't they see that all countries have problems, and India is included?

 

So that's a bit like the Scots then?!

 

No, I could write a big list about how bad Scotland is (but of course, it aint true )

 

I believe its got something to do with how much love you have... I mean, If you love someone you tend to overlook their shortcomings... similarly, when we love our country, most of us (especially in front of people from other richer countries) tend to overlook the bad side of India.

English is a language. It is now called the universal language because of the imperialism and colonization around the globe.That is how English spread around the globe.

We learn English as a subject.Just like maths, physics and Chemistry. I don't speak to my mom in English. I don't speak to my friends in English.So, it is not a question why your English is of better standards than ours.Having said that, i think most of us at least manage to speak or write English that can be understood or decoded in the worst case.

Communication is not what you speak, but what others understand.


If you are not able to face the heat, just move on.


It is true that India is a developing country and there is poverty in India.So what?? Doesn't mean that we don't have to care for the national security and equip our forces.Every country is doing it.

Why do you get so upset if India is going to have 5,000 km range Agni missile next year.I am pretty sure UK is not in that 5000 km radius. You don't have to worry.

If somebody will try to learn my natal country language and will be smarter then me, and building spage-ship, rockets..etc better than other country, i will respect them and try to learn from them if i am not capable to do it myselft.
