That's what I expected months ago. When Israel is pulling out of Gaza they will play a bit harder if something (like the kidnapping of the young soldier) happens. No surprise, so they arrested 28 Hamas members in the night by just walking into their appartment and took them with them.
What do you suggest? I mean Israel is playing tough now and Islamists in Iran, Syria etc. are going to make troubles now too. Is ths the beginning of the final war in that region? One thing is that Russia is going into distance (no more so supportive to Islam), because of the murderings of 4 of their diplomats and now are even offering 10 million $ for any info that leads to the liquidation of the culprits. Could be an invasion soon - Syria, Palestine, Iran - and Iraq again, with more international support then.
Why? It's better for Iran to keep quiet. They are in deep sh*t already. But who knows, perhaps they dare to share the fate of Hamas and Hizbolah then.
You think rest of the world will keep quiet if Iran uses Shahab? the moment israel is dealt with that way, Iran will cease to exist.
The advantage that Israel has over Iran is that the latter cannot use nonconventional weapons since it is impossible to selectively kill Jews and not Arabs. I guess this is one advantage of living in such proximity. The other other advantage is that you can get in Israel good Hummus also on Saturday.
