    Ok, now my subdomain is on page 1 for some of my original keywords and seeing some traffic from google for the first time in weeks.
    Waiting on google to index it again as redirected, i.e. its still appearing in google as mynewsite.myestablishedsite.co.uk

    If it starts showing up again as mynewsite.co.uk i will be super happy.

    Ok, google has now removed my subdomain, im assuming because it has now acknowledged the permanent redirect. And my site is again nowhere to be seen in the google serps.

    Definetly still "sandboxed"

    Doesnt work in my eyes

    That is quite some interesting tip and I guess the new site that got sandbox may not have too much to lose depending on investment. However, I would fear for the established site though.

    Update...

    So my subdomian on my established site was doing well, ranking#2 in google for my keywords.
    I'm guessing now google has updated its index with my 301 redirect, as the subdomain is now deindexed.
    however my orignal site that i redirected the subdomain to, is still nowhere to be seen in the google serps, i.e. still sandboxed.

    so i have a few questions,

    1) If i 301 redirected a site to another site be it a new domain or an existing domain, would the new domain appear in google serps in the same position it was before i 301 redirected it, and if so, would it happen immedietly or take a while??

    2) if i removed my 301 redirect, would google then in time, reindex the original site? in my case, my subdomain... mtnewsite.myestablishedsite.co.uk


    Of course the other theory is that my subdomain is now deindexed for some other penalty and its nothing to do with the 301 redirect?

    I would appreciate your thoughts.

    we can also remove site from sand box by using google webmaster tool.
    Using "Request reconsideration" we can make our site out of sand box.

    I'd be careful doing blackhat things like this if you have a legitimate site that cost a lot to develop. You dont want to get black listed just because you can't wait a few months for your sandbox to expire
