    Here's my Warren Buffett forum

    www.BerkshireHathawayForum.com

It's supposed to be a place for investors ranging from beginners to serious investors looking to find investment ideas or looking to get feedback on their investment ideas.

Please give some ideas on how to improve the number of posts. I get decent amount of traffic, but very few posts/traffic, though I could always use more traffic.

The design is obviously cookie cutter. I haven't touched that yet since I was working hard on driving traffic, but if you think that could improve the site's performance, I'd love to hear your thoughts too...basically, as much specific feedback as possible would help.

Nice and pleasant forum site. The color is also good and the content looks very clear.

    Hi,
I am not a lawyer, but I think it will be good idea to mention that this site is not related to warren or his company..
    (unless it is :) )

I don't like small ad banner at the front page, maybe put it between logo text and search input.

Thanks for the input. I cannot put the ad banner where you suggest because it would be a direct violation of the google adsense user agreement.

Does anyone else have a problem with the placement of the small advertisement at the top of the forum menu? If so, I can either move it or eliminate the ad altogether.

well thats a nice topic, nice idea to start a forum on Investment etc topics... i do not have ample knowledge about business n investment things... but im sure, it would be a great help for even students like me, who often search for ideas and explanations... for their assignments obviously :p
but i appriciate ur effort, and yes, forget the design n everything, focus on the topic, which ur doing, and thats all u have to do... as far as i think... :)

    Do check the legal aspect/Disclaimer.

Raise some questions on the site, entice the readers in to post...(what might they learn; how can they participate, what they can do to be creative about their own investment life, and so on) start a contest, have a free download, etc. Hope that assists.

    Best to you.

Very nice site. As for getting more posts, try posting around at some other investment forums and offer free back-linking at your forum. You could also browse around for some investor sites and offer to write a review (post) on their site, if they link to you. Backlinks help your PR and a good PR will bring the posters from the forums. Good luck. I think you have a good niche here. Good niches take some time, just like good investments.

Do the links in our signatures improve our websites' pageranks and SEO? If so, I figure shouldn't we all become members of each other forums and websites and then incorporate our websites in signatures?
