haha, why? No, I don't think Linux is strange system.. it's just... another OS. I've been using Gentoo Linux OS for about 2 years and i like it so much! I like it more than Windows cause Linux allows something more than Windows (bash-scripting, for example)..
I've been using Microsoft since I bought my first computer. I find it suitable for my needs. Maybe I will try Linux in the near future. Exactly.
I prefer Microsoft over a free operating system mainly because I need to use Photoshop and I like to play popular computer games. But for my servers I use Linux. Much more secure than any Microsoft operating system.
Personally, Windows is good. People knock it but you know what, its solid. Don't blame the OS for any virus or trojan, blame people. If linux was as mainstream as windows it would have them too. I use both. I'd actually use Ubuntu 100% of the time if A) it booted up quicker and had better response time B) Had the ability to run Adobe Cs3/CS4 without a hitch (even with winetricks - some things just wouldn't work properly). Linux is catching up quickly though so I cannot wait to see what 2009 brings.
I love XP its good and stable. I love ubuntu and I put that on failing computers. I tried ubuntu on my main machine but I soon miss XP and I go back. Windows 7 is very nice. I have the beta.
Nothing beats Windows Vista. (Make sure you have at least 3 gigs of RAM and a Dual core processor at minumum )
although, windows sucks...i think u would do better to stick with it cuz its used on a majority of computers worldwide.. be it, personal PCs or corporate ones!!
Certainly Windows. It has a much friendly interface, and much more easy to use for everyone, noobie or pro! That's why Microsoft is a colossus in the Market!
Saying so shows you need the point/click handholding and Windows telling you what to do rather than thinking for yourself.
then don't speak about Windows anymore, you just make assumptions in an annoing way, meaning that you're just ignorant. stay with your linux and don't bother us.
Are you assuming that? Or do you know? If you're so sure, point out where I make assumptions. So you prefer not to learn about anything outside your closed box? And you call me ignorant?
Yes.. Free Mirosoft is good (for this product must not pay) If seriosly, for a few years Linux will be better for all of parametrs
