Hello everyone, I am contemplating offering a new product on ClickBank and would like to know a few things! As affiliates, what do you look for when new products are presented on CB.com/these forums/etc... Apart from a nice commission rate! Quality of landing page? Quality of affiliate resources provided? etc etc? Just want to get all my bases covered before I dive into product creation! Thanks! Co82
Something different that sells! Not just ANOTHER copy of the get ex back niche, or alternative energy niche etc.. Seems like when something becomes popular everyone copies and rebrands the ebook with their images and throws up a landing page... And yes a good quality landing page with an good affiliate area is nice.
I do agree with grooveman, On the other hand affiliates are always ready to give a shot to unique product to stay ahead in money race
Before I promote a product, I want to know how well it is performing, and that the publisher is actively trying to improve conversion rates, earnings per customer (upsells, cross-sells, continuity programs etc). Plus, I want info on the target market, and plenty of creatives to use in my promotions. Lastly, I want to see that the product is high quality: a decent sales website with well written copy, and a low refund rate.
i dont think anyone cares about quality. How you explain that "google ads for free" (which is the biggest piece of garbage) still tops any gravity list? People obviously buy into this ****...and just mention "free" and its a winner G.
@George: Quality means a low refund rate. A duff product will naturally give rise to lots of refunds, and that's no good for affiliates (or publishers for that matter).
I think its all about the quality of the sales pitch, having a really good pitch which stands out and makes you want to read all the way to the end, adding screen shots, maybe a video, etc
I have an original product, that no one has, i just need to make the e-book, what's the best software or delivery method for this? i will post this elseware here too. PM me if you have sold eBooks before.
Quality product that is in demand and where the customers have money to spend. No point marketing a product in a niche where the customers have no money. Prime example would be an anime product. Wouldn't fancy me as most anime enthusiasts have no credit card and are of average age 12. You have to create a product in a proven market.
@red7media - deliver your product as a PDF file. Open Office Writer (free alternative to MS Word) can create PDFs.
