    hi,

i am looking for script of forum, which allows enbed video in post
What i am looking for is:
when user want to add new post, he has to have access to icon "insert video". Forum has to be able to download the file from hardrive, copy the file to my server and automaticly embed the video in post as a video player.

I was looking for this kid of modifications for the most popular forums' scripts such as phpBB and SimplMachine, but all I found were solutions which required to copy video file to ftp by user before posting.

Check out hotscripts.com - I can't remeber the name of the forum script but I had one last Spring that I found for my nephew, I'm sure you'll find one easily there.

LMAO - How do you figure that one?

You can also embed videos in vBulletin.

I cannot find info about this feature on any website about vBulletin.

I am looking for solution, where you can simply choose "import video" during posting, and then upload file to server and the video will be in the post with videoPlayer, you know, right away to watch, not as a attachment.

Guess you haven't been searching well enough then...:p http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=130868 - Although it's a vBulletin 3.6x plugin, it should be compatiable with newer versions.

He wants to convert video on his website , that is what I understand? Not embed Youtube. The server will need ffmpeg to be able to do this. Easiest way to do this is use existing Video tube script and modify it.

vBulletin + AME = the perfect solution. I couldn't imagine vB without the AME modification. It's superb.

No. He doesn't even mention the word convert in his original post. He wants to embed.

While I understand he said "embed" He wants to pull file from his computer onto his server then have a file embeded....the only way to do that is to convert the file to use some kind of video converter:D

What you guys are talking about is embedding videos already on the net.

    right:D
