How do i create XML Sitemap for my blog? Do i have to everyday add a URL to keep it updated?

First you should go to sitemap section in the google webmaster tools. then You can find a space for add your sitemap. type "atom.xml" there. like this [your site url]/atom.xml

 

it's easy if you are using a WP platform, all you have to do is install the sitemap plugin and you are good to go.

 

no, you don't have to make a site map for your blog because the blog owner must already have made a sitemap.

 

If your site is very large you could always hire out the sitemap creation, but for blogs its almost always easiest to just use one of those built in plug ins.

If you have an Atom / RSS feed already published by your blogging software, then you can add the URL for that atom.xml or rss.xml file to your sitemaps. This way, your sitemap file updates whenever you post a new blog entry.
