Help related to OUT GOING LINKS....

    I want to know how Out Going Links affect website or Blog?
    Do they affect SERPS?

    What if i have 50 Blogroll link exchanges ?

    too many links is bad news, if you have loads of outgoing links, page rank is diluted as the google pr algorithm is a calculation based on incoming links and outgoing links among other things

    Contrary to the post above..... outbound links do not dilute PageRank of the page where the outbound links are placed.

    Here is what happens

    You have 1 link outbound from a PR5 page... then you will pass a link with a PageRank 4 to the page you are linking to.

    If you have 2 links outbound from a PR5 page....then you will pass two links with a PageRank 2 to the page you are linking to.

    So all that occurs by having a bunch of links on any page is you dilute the value of PR that you can pass.

    Outbound links will not dilute the scoring of links into the page therefore there is no dilution of PageRank assigned.

    Remember this forum is the worlds leader in allowing the posting of SEO misinformation......

    exactly, more outbound links suck link juice from the PR

    Avoid too many links.... Nofollow those that you don't want to share juice with.
