Can I make money from site related to fun using Adsense?

Hi,

I am thinking to start a website related to fun such as stories, jokes, pics, videos, magic tricks, games and some other related stuff.
My question is;

Can I make money from this type of website using Adsense?

I want to use Adsense because I think that i have no other option.

Your best bet would be to go Google Traffic Estimator and type in some of your keywords and just see what the Cost Per Click advertisers are paying would create.

 

You can make money with any topic (presuming it isn't against TOS) -- you just need the right amount of traffic.

 

Try Google Trends, very useful to know your competition

 

Keep in mind this would probably be one of the lowest paying topic.

 

The correct question is how to make maximum money from adsense.
You can put adsense at strategic position to increase the click from user.
There are a lot of ads network out there such as adbrite.

There is a huge potential in entertainment websites, as per my experience the eCPM and CTR of such websites is also high.

What you only need is place the Google Ads at prominant locations.

 

Sure you can but the niche you mention is consider as low pay niche, you will get low cost per click

 

What about animals, wild life and CARS etc?

 

Pick one that's really close to your passion, and then turn it into a profit.... money won't be a good motivator for the next 15 years - but your passion is.

If you like animals/wild life - then go for it.

Like fellows here already told you, you can make money with any topic, it just depend on how hard you try with it.
How much you advertise, how much content you'll be adding, etc. But how much you will make will depend on interest...
