Need Help to Improve my Webpage.

I am pain on SEOing. My Webpage is www.buybookshop.com. I try to optimize my webpage. I target keyword on "Sell books". I try to build links , on page optimization. But webpage can not gain any good result (I rank around 50 on Google).

May I ask ... ?

1) Keyword "sell books" is suitable for my website, or not? If not, any other keyword suggestion?
2) Is there any Suggestion of my on-page optimization?
3) Is there any works to improve my website?

 

Patience is key in SEO. Your site already doing good if its on 50. Try to rank it for buy books.

The main suggestion is to dont go for MOST COMPETITIVE words in beginning.
try 3 worded keywords first. Use them in your site contents/articles.
bauidl back links using those keywords hyperlinked to your site.

 

Sell Books keyword have competition in 8 figuer. Competition is very high so you need to do full SEO efforts to promote your website. I would recommand you following tasks:-

Article Syndication - Make sure you will use Book Sell keywords and hyper linked to search result URL.
One Way Link Building - Secure some education theme related links
Forum Posting - Use "Book Sell" on your signature and post as much as quality posts

I have been doing SEO about 4-5 months ago. It's pain but no gain. I feel like a dumb.

The competition is huge! Maybe target other keywords? Also try to copy your competitors and use some advanced SEO software like IBP.

 

Your keyword is competitive & it will take time to get good ranking on google. keep continue your work.

 

Sell books have got 62,100,000 search results on google....so its highly competitive..

you need lots of back links and high PR

why not you try this keyword "sell books" together with city / country or subject name...

 

If you improve your site so do work Off Page Optimization with your targeted keyword it's better way to boost your webpage.

Maybe your targeted keywords is very competitive. That's why your not ranking.

 

Start promote 3 word Keyphares (eg) like

Online Book seller
Selling text books 26th position
Sell used books
Used books seller

 

Last time I have a little improvement for "sell books" rank up to around 45th position
And I also check long tail such as "Sell textbooks" - around 35th position, "Selling text books" - around 30th position.

Aviod rival strategy is an interesting idea, however I need to fight . My minimal expectation rank is < 20th position on sell books keyword. Please suggest any methods to fight in this situation. I am appreciate every ideas.

Maybe to target Buy Books more then sell books

 

Agree with 'seoz87'.

"Sell books" is very highly competitive keyword. Dont focus on highly computation keywords. Just focus on long tail keywords. Once you got good position with the long tail keywords then you can go for highly computation keywords.

And be patience.

As u had mentioned you rank at 50. this is keyword is so completive if within 4-5 month you get ranked 50 ...then be patience u had done great job. concentrate on you work naturally u ld b ranked well soon. n some gave you good soln try to change keyword and work for domain keyword.
