Sending mass emails

    would sending mass emails to different accounts (thousands) be considered spamming? has anyone tried this?

    could this hurt your blog or site in terms of SEO?

    if you are not writing a customized personal message to each email address chances are it's spam unless they are part of an opt in newsletter or something similiar

    how about same message to all recipients? an invitation to visit a blog or website. this wont hurt the site in terms of indexing right?
