Twitter + Digital Point

Does Digital Point have it's own Twitter profile at all? Maybe we can start a DP twitter group together and market our sites with each other.

Anyone interested?

 

That's a great idea! I did a search for DigitalPoint on twitter, and forums in general, but I couldn't find any IM forums using it. Pretty interesting, maybe they should look into it. For now, maybe you can start a DigitalPoint fans account?

 

I'm intrigued and interested in being a part of it.

How would it work? My knowledge of twitter is pretty basic.

 

I think maybe I should leave that up to one of the administrators to do, since I don't think Twitter would like multiple accounts from me.

Basically it's just a group of people that will share marketing with other members through updates and such.

Like say you and me followed each other, and we posted updates about our websites content...we could both read each others content if it interests us.

Now imagine that with a lot of DP members.

Waiting for Twitter to respond to my email about my account restore verification email, then maybe we can start this twitter trend on DP.

 

I'm actually quite surprised that they don't (I haven't checked). I bet they would have a pretty massive following right off the bat! I would love to see something like that happen, it would be a great way to network and keep up with what's going on.

Shawn doesn't even visit the forum very much. I highly doubt that he's going to start something on twitter for it.

 

Shawn doesn't have to do it, I was suggesting maybe one of the head administrators.

On another webmaster forum I am on, the owner didn't make a twitter account, but rather one of the head admins.

 

Meh, seriously...this is not going to take off with DP support, if you really want to do this you have to take your own initiative and start it.

 

I've already attempted a Twitter thread once so people can share their URL and everyone could follow each other...

But thread got deleted and I got an infraction for it.

That's why I started this thread, and made a suggestion asking for DP to put support behind it.

I appreciate your effort to get twitter account in DP by default. I wish to have closely monitor services and products of DP members in twitter.

Having a twitter section would work too. I've seen a lot of comments throughout many forums about twitter. Now for the admins to pick up on it.

 

Maybe you are not very familiar with how this forum works, but there isn't really an admin. Shawn is the only one that can add new sections and he doesn't come around much anymore.

And the mods are way to busy to start something on twitter.
