Which one is better for link building "Directory Submission" or "Social Bookmark". Any one can share about this. Thanks anyway.
Directory Submission by far. Social bookmarking is pretty much only for direct traffic. That's my 2 cents anyway.
Between these two, directories submissions from seo friendly dirs. Social bookmark site pretty much all have no follow on external links which gives a zero effect for seo. But it does bring traffic.
Directory submissions will because there are a lot more directories, and you can vary your anchor text greatly targeting many keywords. You should also check for directories that allow deep linking, as deep linking is great. But honestly, you shouldnt be deciding which one is better than the other, you should be doing both of them as together you will get the most benefit.
That mean directories submissions good for higher PR and higher traffic. What is we look for on link building, higher PR or higher traffic.
For deep link and vary the anchor text, in my view social book mark allowed submit each article on your blog or site. That will give more deep link and more vary the anchor text then directory submission.
They are both under SEO.. directory submission and social bookmarking are strategies that we can work for to promote or optimize our websites.. Well, I choose Social Bookmarking too... I know directory submission also helps but I think social bookmarking is the fastest way to build traffic..
Thats very true - they both are different strategies for optimizing the website. Social bookmarking is also good for generating good traffic to your site.
I do directory submission between 3-7 directory daily and submit to social bookmark every 3 days to 8-10 social bookmark. Lastly I submit my 2 month old site more frequent to social bookmark, but few keyword rank drop from 6 to 20. I confuse about this, it I get finalize from Google?

For long term Seo effects and benefits, directory submissions are always good. Social bookmarking is also pretty handy but for traffic and getting indexed by search engines.
For the main page, directory is better. However, social bookmark is better on improving your inner page. You got to use both of them

IMO, directory submission should be limited to reliable directories only and more consideration should be given to social bookmarking sites because they're delivering good results.
I use both and would recommend you do the same but be careful not to spam, either method can get you penalised if you get too many links from irrelevant sites too quickly
