Digg Login problem due to Banned IP

Hi Friends,

I've a blog and I used to Digg posts and other news on Digg.

One day I wasn't able to login to my account. I contacted Digg for that and they replied that the IP has been banned.

Well in my case i've done nothing wrong and the IP they banned was of the ISP of my university and everyone accesses internet through the ISP. Someone else may have violated the rules of Digg but does this means that I'll have to suffer?

Plz tell me what shall I do?

Explain them what happened, and ask them nicely to unban your account.

 

Well I did my part, Explained them about the whole thing but still haven't got any response from them. Still waiting but what if they don't response?

 

Have you tried accessing digg from another IP address with the same account? try hidemyass.com to change the IP address.

 

Hmmmm...ever heard of proxies/hidemyip/Tor?

 

It's Digg, remember. Most of online proxies have been blocked.
