Most paying keywords

Is there any way to find out the most paying keywords?
I've been running websites exploiting adsense adds and so far my average payout is 2.8c (that is $0.028) a little less than 3 cents per click.
Does anyone know of a way to increase the payout/click?

because there are too much competition.
The best way to get clicks is to first of all get traffic and then look at the "heat Map" Googls has.

Yeah but the things is you ahve to find out which synonyms of the your content pays the most and concertrate on that. Google adwords has a great tool for that. But since I can't post live links try searching this in google " google keywords tool" you shoudl be able to find it.

    Thank You.

In my experience, you're best off going after keywords that pay in the "medium" range, i.e. $2.00 - $5.00. These keywords present a happy compromise of decent payout and moderate competition. And the AdWords Traffic Estimator (see post above) is a great way to find 'em. :)

Great responses, Thanks for the help.
I've a website about electronics, like op-amps, capacitors and stuff but the payout is almost nothing, so I was just wondering if thats the case across the board.

It's hard to say without doing the research. I suggest that you implement some of the strategies detailed in this thread, and you may find related keywords that will generate higher revenues. You could then optimize your pages for these keywords, and hopefully increase your revenues. :)

There is no specifically high rating keyword for Adsense. The more common it use, the much lower it will became..

That's a difficult question to answer. First, because Google doesn't publish the percentage they pay to publishers, the only data available is basically "guesses" by the publishers themselves. Recent guesses I've seen go as high as 70% of advertising revenue. Second, because an advertiser's bid is not necessarily what he or she pays. The bid price is a max bid, meaning that it's the highest price an advertiser will pay. However, if competitors are bidding significantly lower, the advertiser with the highest max bid will only have to pay $0.01 more than the second highest max bid. As an example, if an advertiser places a max bid of $1.00, and the next highest max bid is $0.30, the first advertiser will only pay $0.31.

Hard to calculate, but generally speaking, higher bids = higher publisher revenues. :)
