    Hi all,

I'm wondering..for the canadians out there...what currency do you use for adsense payouts? The reason I ask...it looks like I have the option to chose canadian and u.s. If I cash out when I hit $100, I would rather take a $100 U.S cheque as opposed to a $100 Canadian cheque due to the currency exchange rates. If I select U.S, does google perform any conversions and deductions towards the total earnings?

    Thanks

earnings are "counted" in US dollars, but you can be paid in your own currency, for many countries.

GOOGLE will convert US dollars to yours (CDN) for you at the current/competitive rate - no worries. :)

i.e. your $100US earnings will be paid at approx. $121CDN at the moment.

I'm not Canadian, but that's a no brainer.

$1 USD is still worth $1 USD in the U.S. regardless of what its worth in the rest of the world.

So if I were Canadian I would take my $121 CDN and run laughing all the way to the bank. That's of course assuming $1 CDN is still worth $1 CDN in Canada. Which I am sure is the case.

Thanks. I was wondering because with commission junction, my u.s sales commissions are not converted to canadian dollars. With $100 U.S commission, I get a $100 canadian cheque.

wow, that's pretty crappy of them. IMHO ;)

i'm CANADIAN, and GOOGLE treats me well when converting/exchanging US / CDN funds.

P.S. it really sucked for us CANADIANS when our dollar was worth more than the US dollar around 8 months ago.

my $100US was converting to about $91CDN YIKES! :)
